I love that music is a generational thing with the simpsons. Abe, with his whistiling, and his song writing/piano playing with Rita. Homer, with him being in church choir, a grunge band, and the barbershop quartet. And then Lisa with her love of jazz, and her saxophone.

He isn’t dumb he just pretends he knows much more than we think. Example in the last episode of season 34 he said: you died and went to hell when that was exactly what homer did. For a normal person homer crashed his car and fell out but miraculously survived but Ralph saw right through that proving that he is possibly a greater species than the humans🥶

The anime segment in this installment was something I wasn't really expected at first, but this one is really good, maybe we can have segments like this sometimes, I think it could be quite creative.

My favourite Treehouse Of Horror death is Selma from Treehouse Of Horror 27, Moefinger.

Sounds like the writers from The Simpsons! They kind of did a similar thing in Futurama with Fry. Before the Roswell episode, his Grandpa is mentioned, and does the episode progresses, you find out that Fry's his own Grandpa. And they stick to that schtick throughout the entire series, but at the same time, it causes a paradox because Fry clearly still had memories of his grandfather beforehand, but in that episode, he kills his grandfather, which literally nuked any chance of him forming those memories. It would have made sense if they would have played it off like Fry's grandpa died during the war, but it's never mentioned or hinted at, at least to my knowledge. In all fairness to the writers, his grandfather is never mentioned by Fry himself after that point, I think his dad mentions him once or twice, but it was clearly meant as a joke. But I digress, they accidentally created a paradox and decided to stick with it because the whole point of causing the paradox was for the sake of a joke. That's what the yeti comment was, it was clearly just meant as a joke that they weren't going to look into further after that point and only did to remind you of the ridiculousness of the initial joke. The Simpsons doesn't do it often, but you catch them every once in awhile with messed up continuity that was exclusively messed up due to a joke. Kind of like how Homer was initially Krusty the Clown, they eventually retconned that episode to make Homer and Krusty both separate, entirely unique characters. Then at the same time, they have an unmatched level of continuity in some cases, like how the van crashed at the Springfield Gorge is still frickin there during the events of The Simpsons Movie.
